When I was still very young, mom taught me how to do business.  Every time she would travel to Japan, she would bring home Sanrio items that I would sell to my friends and classmates.  She probably had a hunch that starting me off with a small sales career would make me a good business woman. Now i have my own family and a business.  It’s not a big one but I can say that I’m doing good in that field and that’s because of you mom. 

My wife’s not been so lucky with her store. She’s been ripped off several times by employees who she did not do a thorough background check on. I’ve also seen this happen to the company I used to work for. What I advised my boss back then was to do an extensive employment screening of all applicants to make sure that we are hiring honest and competent people. I’ve also suggested this to my wife if she wants to stop losing earnings. This is a must for any business. Making the wrong choice of staff can make or break a company.

Advances in technology has raised awareness in the IT industry. More and more people are taking up careers in IT. More and more IT Jobs are being opened in different businesses around the world. The demand for more IT professionals increase everyday. My daughter is also considering taking up a number of IT courses to improve her chances for employment. Her friends are also doing the same.

My cousin who recently graduated is now trying to land a job. She lives in Colorado But would prefer to work in Philadelphia. She’s been looking into several Philadelphia jobs that would fit her course. She’s had also rented an apartment there with a friend who works there. She’s still learning her way around. With her qualification and passion, it wouldn’t take her long to find a job.
